Fuel Cost Calculator
Use this fuel cost calculator to estimate the cost of a drive from the distance travelled, your vehicle’s average fuel consumption and the price you pay per litre.
Estimated result—
How it works
Fuel used = distance ÷ 100 × L/100km. Trip cost = fuel used × price per litre.
Example
For a 250 km trip at 8.2 L/100km with fuel at $1.90/L, the estimate is about 20.5 litres and $38.95.
Useful things to know
- Use your real average L/100km if you have it; brochure figures can be optimistic.
- Allow extra fuel for towing, headwinds, heavy traffic or off-road driving.
- For return journeys, enter the full round-trip distance.
